Data Deletion

You can delete your Apheles account and the data associated with it at any time. This page explains what gets removed, how to ask, and how to revoke Apheles' access to your connected platforms.
How to request deletion
Choose either option:
- In the app — open Settings and choose Delete account.
- By email — write to kiran@apheles.com with the subject "Data deletion request", from the email address on your account.
What we delete
On a verified request we delete the data tied to your account, including:
- Your account profile (name, email).
- Your business profile and goals.
- Your uploaded brand-voice samples and brand-voice profile.
- Generated content and the recommendations we produced for you.
- Performance data we synced from your connected accounts.
- The stored access tokens for your connected platforms, which we revoke.
Revoking access on connected platforms
Deleting your Apheles account revokes the tokens we hold. To be thorough, you can also remove Apheles directly from each platform:
- Meta — Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations → remove Apheles.
- Klaviyo — Settings → integrations / API keys → revoke Apheles' access.
- Mailchimp — Account → Settings → Connected sites / integrations → remove Apheles.
Timeline
We process deletion requests within 90 days. Residual copies in encrypted backups are purged on our normal backup rotation within the same period.
What we may retain
We may keep a limited set of records where the law requires it (for example, billing and tax records), and anonymised, aggregated data that can no longer identify you. We do not use retained data to re-create your account.
